Culture Night Events in the Brú Ború Region

Cathair Dun Iascaigh CCÉ - Seisiún Ceolta Feasa will perform items of traditional music, song and dance to a wide public area in Cahir House Hotel, opening onto garden and taking in Cahir Castle car park. Free event. This group performs Seisiún all summer in Cahir House Hotel Ballroom. We will advertise this event through our usual media - local radio, newspapers, posters, library, Facebook Cahir Comhaltas, Cahir News. 8.30-11.30pm

Lattin-Cullen CCÉ - Evening of music in a session format in Lattin GAA Hall from 8pm - 10pm where people can join in or just listen. Light refreshments will be served.

Cill Shléibhe CCÉ - Evening of music, song and dance in Killea Community and Heritage Centre from 8-10pm.

CCÉ Craobh Ormond - A night of traditional music and sean nos singing. Caitlin will travel from Rathcarn, Co Meath, to give a sean nos singing workshop. The event is free and is open to the public. Event taking place in Dun Mhuire, Sraid Uí Phiarais, an tAonach from 7.30-9pm.

Dungarvan CCÉ - Get together of new younger players in our branch, and the older members, for music and song from 6.30-8.30pm.

Tramore CCÉ - Irish tunes in Tramore Library. Also some sean nos singing from 5.30-6.30pm.

Bannow CCÉ - Our senior musicians will perform for the younger musicians, parents and people from the local community during our classes in Danescastle National School from 6-7pm. We will have music, lilting and singing.

Gorey/Ballygarrett CCÉ - Musicians, singers and dancers from the branch will gather together to provide a cultural experience to all present at Gorey Town Library from 5-6.30pm.

Craobh Loch Garman - A celebration of the passing year in music, song and dance. Featuring the musicians and singers of Craobh Loch Garman and the Sullivan Irish Dancing Academy in the The Bullring, Wexford from 6.15-7.15pm. Taispeantas da-theangach e seo ag ceiliuradh an t-oidhreacht ar leith den contae alainn seo.

Ferns Branch CCÉ - Irish music, song, dance, storytelling, set dancing, Irish dancing in the Courtyard, Ferns from 8-11pm.

Enniscorthy CCÉ - Irish night of music, song an dance in Atheenaeum, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford from 8-10pm.

Loch Garman Seisiún - A celebration in music and dance of the changing of the seasons in the Bullring, Wexford from 6.15-7.15pm. Featuring some of the branch's finest singers and musicians and the dancers of the Sullivan Academy of Irish Dancing. The performance will be photographed and videoed with images and footage used in short promotional video the branch hopes to produce.
