🎶🎶Comóradh Pat Swan will take place in Cashel from Friday 15th -17th November 2019. The weekend is a celebration of the life of Cashel branch CCÉ member Pat Swan. Events will include performances, workshops and music sessions. Please note workshops for Saturday 16th November need to be pre-registered. Please e-mail info@bruboru.ie for registration forms. 🎶

Normal fees are €15 per grade (10 % Discount for 2nd / 3rd family member) N.B. Numbers are limited for all workshop groups

The full range of tutors for workshops are:

Tutors

Bríd Harper from Co. Donegal. Bríd is an Oireachtas winner and one of Ireland's leading traditional fiddle players and is herself a master tutor. Bríd is also an MA graduate at the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance at University Limerick.

Michael Curran, from Co. Tyrone is an All Ireland winner with a unique Ulster style of button accordion playing. Michael has preformed extensively in Ireland, Europe and America.

Máire Ní Chéileachair is an accomplished Oireachtas Sean Nós singer in both Irish and English. She is a regular visitor to England, Germany, France, Canada and USA at singing festivals.

Michael King is outstanding Flute Player, tutor and adjudicator. Michael hails from Tour na Fola and has toured USA, Britain and Ireland.

Enda Seery is traditional whistle player from Co Westmeath. Enda is a composer, singer and tutor with a first class honours degree in traditional Irish music.

Theresa O Grady from Luton, now living in Sligo, is a renowned banjo player, tutor and adjudicator. Theresa is steeped in Irish traditional music and teaches at the Willie Clancy summer school.

Paul Clesham from Co. Mayo plays fiddle, accordion, melodeon, concertina and is a master class tutor. He won several scholarships and plays in the USA, U.K, France and Sweden.

Ger Naughton from Co Cork is a drummer with the famous tree in a row All Ireland Champions Shandrum Céilí Band, he also plays bodhrán and bouzouki.
