Cashel Arts Festival - Me, Twice
Eoin Gleeson is an actor and theatre-maker hailing from Cashel, Tipperary. His work circuits the nuanced beauty and horror of his lovely Ireland and includes themes such as identity, generational trauma and love.
Eoin was accepted to The Abbey Begins program for emerging playwrights at The Abbey Theatre and since, has been offered dramaturgical support from The Lyric Theatre, Belfast, for his play LEAK.
Blurb-
Demolder has been living in London for the past two years. He returns to Ireland to visit his father. Once home, Demolder finds someone in his place - a scarecrow, dressed up to look like Demolder.
Demolder's father thinks that his son and the scarecrow are the spitting image of each other. Demolder does not. The father and son clumsily navigate the gap that's appeared between them.
