Following on from the incredible success of his first play, A Living Will, Tipperary playwright and director, Jim Keane ,hailing from Golden, Co. Tipperary, is delighted to announce his brand new comedy play, Big Splash, Small Fish, which is taking to the stage in The Brú Ború Theatre, Cashel on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th April.

Keane’s hilarious comedy is set in a rural Irish Pub, Big Splash Small Fish tells the story of dreamer and schemer, Seamus Moore, known locally as “The Sham”, who resides with, and sponges off his widowed Mother Peggy. The Sham dreams up wild and imaginative ways to make his fortune, all to no avail. However, his mad antics provide entertainment to the patrons who frequent his local pub, the proprietor of which is the no-nonsense and sharp-tongued Breda O’Brien.

Filled with hilarious comedy, delightful drama, themes of fraud and deception, as well as some intriguing twists, Jim Keane’s second play has something for everyone. Don’t miss this production of Big Splash, Small Fish!
